Terms of Service
These terms apply to this website and to service requests made through it. Using the site or sending a request means you accept them.
What this site is
This site describes the locksmith services Shenandoah Valley Locksmith offers and lets you request help. A request is not a contract for work. Work is agreed between you and the technician, on site or by phone, after an upfront quote.
Proof of ownership
Before any vehicle is opened, any building is entered, or any key is made, you must show photo identification along with a document connecting you to the property — vehicle registration, insurance card, or title for a vehicle; a lease, deed, utility bill, or addressed mail for a building. A technician may decline the job if that cannot be established, and will do so without apology. This requirement protects vehicle and property owners and is not negotiable.
Upfront quotes
No fixed figures are published on this site, because the scope depends on the vehicle, hardware, and situation in front of the technician. You will be given an upfront quote before any work begins. If the job turns out to be materially different from what was described, the technician will give you a revised quote and you can accept it or decline the work. Anything the technician says on the phone before seeing the job is an estimate based on your description.
Timing
We do not guarantee arrival times or response windows. Travel across the Valley depends on traffic, weather, distance, and how many jobs are already in progress. If timing is critical to you, say so when you make the request and you will be told honestly whether it is realistic.
Scope and outcomes
Technicians use non-destructive methods wherever the hardware allows. Some hardware is already damaged, seized, or non-standard before a technician arrives, and in those cases the only route may involve replacing a component; that will be explained and quoted before it happens. Some vehicles require dealer-only programming, and some safes require manufacturer intervention. Where a job cannot be completed on site, you will be told plainly.
Emergencies
This site and its chat are not emergency services. If a person or a pet is shut inside a vehicle, if there is a fire, a gas smell, a medical emergency, or a break-in in progress, call 911 first.
The dispatcher chat
The chat is an automated assistant that gathers details and answers common questions. It does not provide figures or arrival times, and its answers are general information rather than a commitment about your specific job. A technician confirms the details that matter.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information about your location, the vehicle or property, and the problem.
- Be present with identification and proof of ownership when the technician arrives.
- Do not use this site to request work on property you are not entitled to access.
- Do not submit automated, abusive, or deliberately false requests.
