Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Shenandoah Valley Locksmith collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to the callback forms, the AI Dispatcher chat, and the basic usage events this site records.
Information you give us
When you send a service request, we collect the details you type: your name, phone number, town, the service you need, vehicle year, make, and model where the job is automotive, how urgent it is, and any notes you add. When you use the dispatcher chat, we store the conversation so a technician can read what you already explained instead of asking you to repeat it.
We also record which page the request came from and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived through, so we know which pages are genuinely useful to people.
Information collected automatically
This site records simple, aggregated events: a form submission, a chat-originated request, and a tap on a click-to-call link, along with the page they happened on. We keep a short technical record of the network address a request came from purely to rate-limit automated abuse of the form. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell data.
How we use it
- To call you back about the job you asked about and confirm an upfront quote.
- To send your request to the dispatch system a technician works from.
- To keep a record of the work requested, in case you contact us again about it.
- To detect and block automated spam submissions.
- To understand which towns and services people need help with most.
Who we share it with
Your request is handled by the technicians and dispatch staff who need it to do the work. It is stored in the hosting and database infrastructure behind this site, and — where a dispatch integration is connected — forwarded to that system. We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it for advertising. We disclose information only when the law requires it.
Messages and calls
If you give us a phone number, you are asking us to contact you about that request. We use it to reach you about the job. You can tell us at any point to stop contacting you and we will.
How long we keep it
Service requests are kept as long as they are useful for servicing and supporting the work — typically a few years — then removed. Chat transcripts are kept with the request they belong to. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices
Write to dispatch@shenandoahvalleylocksmith.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. If a request is tied to work that has not happened yet, deleting it will cancel the job.
The dispatcher chat
The chat on this site is an automated assistant. It collects the same details a person would take by phone and hands them to a technician. It does not provide figures or arrival times. Do not type payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or medical details into it. If the situation is an emergency — someone or a pet shut inside a vehicle, a fire, a gas smell, a break-in in progress — call 911 rather than using the chat.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging locksmith work. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
